About Shaleni
I know Milton because I didn’t just build my business here. I built my life here.
For more than 13 years, I’ve helped people buy and sell homes across Milton and Halton. But knowing real estate is only part of what makes someone good at this job.
You need someone who knows the place.
The real part of real estate
Buying or selling a home is rarely just a transaction.
I’ve raised my family here. I’ve watched neighbourhoods grow, schools change, new developments appear and the “quiet little street” suddenly become the street everyone wants to live on.
I know the conversations people have before they make a move, the ones that have very little to do with quartz countertops and a lot to do with what they want their life to look like next.
Sometimes it’s a first home you’re terrified to overpay for. Sometimes it’s the house you raised your kids in and aren’t quite ready to leave. Sometimes you’ve simply outgrown your space, your neighbourhood, or an entire chapter of your life.
My job is to help you figure out the real estate part without losing sight of the rest of it.
What it’s like to work with me
Good advice. Even when it isn’t what you hoped I’d say.
I’ll tell you when I think it’s overpriced.
You don’t need someone convincing you to buy a house. You need someone helping you buy the right one.
I’ll tell you when the strategy needs to change.
Pricing, timing and negotiation matter. Sometimes the best advice isn’t the easiest advice.
You actually get me.
When you work with me, the person you hire is the person advising you. You are never passed down to a junior agent.
Local matters
Local knowledge isn’t something you download from the MLS.
It’s what you notice after living, working and raising a family somewhere for over 23 years.
Knowing the place
There are things you only know because you’ve been here.
After this many years in real estate, I’ve learned that the things you know because you’ve lived somewhere are often more valuable than the things you can pull from the MLS.
Which streets feel different at 5 p.m. than they do during a Sunday showing. Where development is coming. What buyers keep asking for. What makes one house sell while another one around the corner sits.
That local knowledge shapes the way I advise my clients.
And when I don’t know something? I’ll tell you that too, and then I’ll find out.
Why it matters
I live here too. The advice I give my clients is the advice I’d want someone to give my own family.
Thinking about a move?
You don’t need to have it all figured out before you call me.
You can be six months away. You can be wondering whether moving even makes financial sense. You can have twelve questions and absolutely no idea what your house is worth.
That’s a perfectly good place to start.
