2. Credit Report and Score

In order to get both, you can go to Equifax which will cost around $23.95. Another option that you can check is TransUnion. Sometimes depending on who you bank with, you may be able to pull a Credit Report and Score from them so check it out too.

Keep in mind that you want to keep it relatively current within the last 60 days or so.

3.Copy of an Employment Letter

A lot of landlords will request proof of employment. So if you can have a letter from your HR Department stating how long you’ve been working and how much is your salary then it’s a plus

4.Pay Stubs

You should have your last couple of Pay Stubs ready to share with the landlord as well.

5.Be Prepared

Oftentimes a landlord will want to meet you in person or video over Zoom just to get to know you a little bit better. They will ask questions about why you’re moving, what’s your employment status and a few more to get to know you better. This way they will be able to establish a comfortable environment before they will go ahead with the lease agreement.
