Looking for an off-leash dog park in Milton? You’re in luck because Milton has 2 leash-free dog parks. The first one is at 255 Ruhl Drive and the 2nd is at 230 Cedar Hedge Road. The inside of the parks are maintained by Leash Free Milton a volunteer non-profit organization that does an excellent job of keeping the park in tip-top shape for dogs and their humans! Milton Trails Bike Tour – Scott Neighbourhood Check It Out Milton ep 25 This week we discover the Milton Trails community in the Scott Neighbourhood in Milton on a bike! Whether you’re a Milton resident or thinking of moving to Milton, come along for a ride with me and check it out, Milton! The Scott neighbourhood is bordered by Bronte to the East and Tremaine to the west Derry to the south and Main Street to the North. Some of the things I love about the Scott Neighbourhood are all the parks. There are 5 parks Mc Cready Park, Scott Neighbourhood Park East, Scott Neighbourhood Park West, Holloway Park, and Savoline Park. There are tons of bike trails both on the road, off the road and through a forest all within this community. There are 2 elementary schools. The public is Escarpment View it’s jk to 8, and there are fabulous escarpment views right from the school. The Catholic School is Queen of Heaven also jk to grade 8. There’s a variety of builders homes in Milton’s Scott Community. Some of the newer communities in Milton are largely Mattamy Homes, but in Scott, you’ll find different builders including Heathwood, Intracorp, Arista, Fieldgate, Mattamy, and Greenpark. There’s also a Greenlife Condos here. 33 Whitmer is a pretty sought after building. The condo fees are really low as it’s geothermal heating and you’ll notice all the solar panels around that help keep the condo fees low. One of my favourite things about this community as its the closest neighbourhood to the escarpment so you get lovely views all year long. The Escarpment in Milton Scott Neighbourhood There’s also shopping close as well. There’s a gas station, Circle K and a plaza that has a Rexal, Pizza Pizza and a few other options.
