Day 18 of 31 of My Favourite Spots in Milton and we found ourselves at Country Heritage Park! If you haven’t been before it’s located at 8560 Tremaine Road. There are many fun and festive local events that take place Country Heritage Park throughout the year. Today we focused on the Community Garden as they are currently looking for volunteers to help with tending to the garden. We were fortunate to be able to speak with Jaime Reaume, CEO of Country Heritage Park who talked to us about the park, and some of the wonderful community initiatives. We also spoke with Maria and a few of the student volunteers who filled us in with how the community garden came to be, and their experience with tending to the garden.
