Milton Farmers’ Market

Getting up early on a Saturday morning from mid- May to October means being excited about going to Milton Farmer’s Market! For many, it is considered one of the most treasured events in Milton because traditionally it’s been a place to gather, pick up delicious local produce and probably run into a friendly neighbour or friend.
With the Covid-19 virus amongst us and the ban on public gatherings, I really didn’t think we would be able to have the Milton Farmers’ Market this year in Milton.
Thankfully, like so many local businesses the Milton Farmers’ Market has been able to adapt and has found a temporary home at Country Heritage Park.
There are 23 featured vendors. It has both an in-person market and online pre-ordering available if you are more comfortable with a curbside pick up.
For the in-person market set up; the Halton Health Department set up guidelines that we have listed below from the http://miltonfarmersmarket.ca/ website:
- Vendors are to wear PPE and should follow social distancing protocols.
- There should be a separation of vendor stalls.
- Hand sanitizer is available.
- Food sampling is prohibited.
- Customers are encouraged to wear face masks and practice physical distancing.
If you choose to orders online, the orders must be placed in advance. To see the list of products and suppliers, click here.

Thankfully, the Farmer’s Market has adapted to keep physical distancing and the health of the shoppers and vendors a priority.
