La Rose Bakery – Day 22 of 31 My Favourite Spots in Milton

Day 22 of 31 Day 22 of My Favourite Spots in Milton – La Rose Bakery! It’s my better half’s birthday today, and we stopped in to pick up a beautiful birthday cake from La Rose to celebrate with friends tonight. If you haven’t been to La Rose before, they have freshly baked bread and a large variety of mouth-watering desserts, cheeses, and imported specialty items. They also have a large grocery section with fresh vegetables and deli selection. I love their hot table for lunch and we often pick up a large container of their homemade pasta sauce to use in weeknight meals. They are also great for gifts and prepare beautiful baskets around Christmas time. If you haven’t been before you should definitely go! P.S The cannoli’s are the best I’ve ever had and certainly the best in town! Pick one up!

Terre Bleu Lavender Farm – Day 21 of 31 My Favourite Spots in Milton

Day 21 of 31 Day 21 of My 31 Favourite Spots in Milton. Yoga, lavender, fresh air and ice cream = pure happiness! Today I went to Terre Bleu Lavender Farm. It’s the largest Lavender Farm in Ontario, and it’s right here in our backyard. If you haven’t been before they are located at 2501 25 Side Rd, Milton. They run a weekend morning yoga class that is amazing. All abilities welcome. It’s outdoors, and the fresh lavender scented breeze will melt your worries away. They give you a lavender infused cloth at the end and some lavender tea. It’s heaven. There is so much to do there, and you can easily spend a few hours enjoying the grounds. If you haven’t been, definitely go check it out and if you have, tell me what you love about Terre Bleu. P.S. Don’t leave without trying the lavender ice cream. It’s soo good!
