    Day 14 of 31 Day 14 of 31 of My Favourite Spots in Milton! Have you been to Victoria Park? It’s located right in downtown Milton near the Milton Town Hall. Victoria Park is a beautiful park. It’s actually an award-winning park for excellence in park design It has wonderful aspects including a play area for the kids, water feature, outdoor gazebo, picnic tables and historical elements as well. There are also special ceremonies that happen at Victoria Park during the year. There’s a cenotaph here, and on November 11 they hold a Remembrance Day vigil. On New Year’s Eve, you can ring in the New Year at Victoria Park with the Mayor. If you haven’t been to Victoria Park before, I hope you’ll go and check it out. P.S. If you don’t have brunch plans this weekend then you can thank me later for this is one as this is our favourite brunch spot in Milton. If you haven’t been to Grill Daddy before you will find it right in downtown Milton. The service is amazing, and you’ll find some of the friendliest folks around. It’s a favourite in our family and sure to be one in yours too! They also have fantastic lunch options so if you don’t make it for breakfast they’ve got you covered. P.S. Everything on the menu is delicious! This is a local gem of a restaurant. Bon appetit!

    Hilton Falls – Day 12 of 31 Of My Favourite Spots in Milton

    Day 12 of 31 Day 12 of 31 brought us to Hilton Falls. The entrance is located at 4985 Campbellville Road, and it’s a quick drive out of urban Milton. We’ve taken the kids there since they were very small. It’s a beautiful trail, and it’s nice to get out in nature for awhile. If you haven’t been there before, I hope this will inspire you to go and check it out. P.S. There are different trails available and you can choose one for your ability. The yellow one is great if you’re with kids. It will take you right to the falls.
