Pretty Rocker Chic – 12 Days of Giveaways

Colleen envelopes an original style sensibility with her use of materials, marrying leather with concrete, metals, crystals and semi precious stones. I love the juxtaposition of tough + pretty when it comes to clothing and accessories and this line is just that! It is great for any of us who want to add a bit of rocker edge to our everyday look. Colleen makes so many different types of jewelry you can find something for everyone on your Holiday shopping list. She tells me that ‘leather and other textured materials are something everyone can wear…it’s just about finding the right piece for you!” This line is so versatile whereas there are items that can be worn as a necklace, a wrapped cuff as well as a waist chain. Each piece is also customizable- you have the option to choose the colour of leather you would like. And we can’t forget the men in our lives, Colleen even has a really cool men’s line that feature customizable cuffs links and pendants! For Day 4 of “12 days of Giveaways”, I visited The Barn Door Studio, located at 156 Main St E in Milton. The Barn Door Studio opened 5 years ago and has become a staple in downtown Milton. It is the home of creative and customized workshops and parties and has an outstanding local handmade market. They offer modern rustic and urban farmhouse items from local artisans. From clothing to home décor, there is a little bit of everything for everyone. The Barn Door Studio is also a supplier of Fusion Mineral Paints, which is a great product to refresh an old, tired piece of furniture you may have laying around the house.
